– Immortalizing your big day in your lives with beautiful, authentic, and meaningful imagery –
Now you might not know but a few years from now you will go through your wedding pictures and see one where your father is looking at you in tears of joy, or your grand ma is giving you her most warmth hug whispering you how much she loves you. All those memories will take you back to that day and my images will be alive through your emotions.
Is right at that moment when my work will have fulfilled and completed its purpose.
And is that the legacy I want to let to you.
My background in Documentary photography has kept me always deeply connected with the most human and emotional side of photography. This has led me to organically develop strong skills in sensing and anticipating to moments, being highly reactive at every moment.
And my passion for Fine Art photography and visual storytelling has a direct influence at leading in the couple’s portrait session, when composing the scene and choosing lighting and locations. But it also plays a big role in my editing style and process allowing me to properly reflect the atmosphere, get the viewer immersed in the image, and convey the emotion of every scene. I want you to have images that go beyond a shelf life. Images that you will want to print big and hang in your walls if you want to.
I work combining both approaches during your wedding day.
My approach to wedding photography
I work combining both approaches: Documentary / photojournalism and Fine Art.
I document the day as it happens during most of the day. There will actually be some special moments during your day which you will only discover once you receive your images 😉 .
There are two moments when I work with a Fine Art approach: on the image post production when editing the photos, and during the couple’s private portrait session.
Even though this is a segment where I lead a more staged shooting I also prioritize naturalness and run away from posey images. I carefully choose the best location’s spots, the light and the composition, but I get you interact naturally, allowing you to unfold in front of the lens. I lead the session suggesting my couples moving actions where lots of nice and spontaneous poses will be organically created. They will walk, interact with each other and do what feels natural to them. At certain points…
My approach to wedding photography
I want to tell your story the way it looked, but also
the way IT FELT.
The best I can give you is my ability to be fully present on your wedding day.
And what would that mean? The trust and the tranquility of knowing that all your memories will be there forever, and are going to be captured at their best. Even moments that you missed while being in the rollercoaster of your big day.
I will narrate this entire chapter of your life in a unique and truthful way.
I WILL BE THERE SO YOU CAN BE PRESENT.
FINE ART WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY ADAPTED TO YOU
Because this day will only happen once, and everyone deserves to have it saved at its best.
Every single detail, every emotion.
I give special importance to my models to be comfortable and at ease. I really look after my brides and grooms who are real people not accustomed to being professionally photographed. Fortunately by experience, these couples usually take an average of 5-7 minutes to lose the camera awareness and feel relaxed (promise, it is always like that ;)) I also do care about not only the result pictures but their experience in the shooting.
I aim for them to feel well cared and to enjoy as much as I do.

I remain discreet and I believe I can say one of my abilities is to really go unnoticed during the wedding day. However, although I work from a documenting standpoint, I believe not everything needs to be left to chance. There may come moments where a light is much better in certain spot. In that case I will let my couples know, I’ll step back and let the moments and interactions unfold naturally. I find that this makes my couples comfortable, while allowing me to craft the perfect picture and still keep the true documentary of the day.
For the most part of the day, I am an observer and I document the day as it unfolds. I deeply enjoy the fast moving phenomenon that is a wedding, and being eyes wide open at all time as things happen in a fraction of second; a sight, a smile, that spontaneous hug or a facial expression in reaction to a surprise. I become invisible and reflect those instants choosing in every shoot the best perspective according the angle and the environmental light of the moment in an absolutely non-obtrusive approach. I intervene only when necessary to optimize composition like when setting up family and friend pictures.
Seeing your day as art.
I would say my photography isn’t airy and light, nor is it dark and moody. I go in with the intent of showing how it felt to be there.
However, I always look to imbue to my images atmosphere so it can convey emotion better. Cinematic is word recurrently used to describe my work. It is something actually intended as I find cinematic style to be the perfect aesthetical convergence of elegance, naturalness, atmosphere and emotion.
I want my couples to feel through the images years down the road the feeling they had in their wedding day.
With my couple’s portrait session my goal is to create timeless Fine Art images,
Ultimately, images without a shelf life. Images you will want to print big and display on your walls if you want to.
WORKING WITH PEOPLE WHO SEE OUR TIME TOGETHER AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO CREATE ART COMPLETELY INSPIRES ME
kind words
“Cristina’s work left us speechless when we received the photos and saw them for the first time. She took our wedding pictures in Stockholm and already from the first conversations we felt she knew exactly what we wanted.
She did not only document the day but she was really creative in her shooting. She nailed it when it comes to reflect the mood of the day and bring to life the emotions!. Reviewing the photos we are freaking out cause it looks like she was in multiple places at the same time! she got so many amazing candid pictures that we did not realise at all in that moment. She handled the whole shooting very discretely and yet managed to get pictures from the most original angles.
Then we did the session Roger and I and the pictures are just beyond amazing!!.
She was also very easy in communication from the beginning answering us immediately almost always. The whole experience with her was 10/10 and we absolutely recommend in general a good photographer as it is the only lifetime memory you will have but we specially recommend her“!!

DESTINATION WEDDINGS & elopements
Wether you have a dream destination to get married, or you do it at your home town and need the photographer you like to come to you, or you have an international guests wedding and want the photographer you like to be able to communicate efficiently in english, french, swedish or spanish, I’d love to join you. The three scenarios are my thing. I love traveling anywhere, everywhere.
Whether it’s in a big city capital, a small tiny village in the mountains, a sunbaked rooftop in Santorini, in the magical lights of New York City or in a cute vineyard in Italy, I got you. If your ideal wedding takes place in a spot that you’ve always dreamed of, I’m THERE.
During the last decade, I’ve had the chance to tell the story of hundreds of awesome couples in Spain, Greece, Uk, Sweden and France, all in a wide variety of styles and types. A large number of them covered in Sweden, where I lived and worked for 6 years.
My couples and weddings range in a really eclectic spectrum: I have accommodated in 300 guests wedding to true elopements of just two where I was asked to be the signing witness. I have done civil, religious, LGBT, non LGBT, in the seaside, in forests, from the yard of a summer house to a huge and fancy castle, in a boat, in the lake, in the city hall..! I can not chose one type over another. Each and every single wedding is unique just as each couple.
The only criteria? bring your 100% self
As for me, whether it’s a full wedding or an engagement session, I will give all of myself to produce for you the best collection possible.
I bring a decade of experience to deliver artistic quality of work, expertise and ease every step of the way.
